** Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) experience is preferred! **
We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager with a proven track record leading large, complex Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) implementation projects using Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will bring strong insurance industry expertise and the ability to successfully manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Scrum Master certification is required.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale OIPA implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and milestone tracking
- Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and enabling fast-paced, iterative delivery
- Collaborate closely with product owners, system integrators, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies, proactively resolving project impediments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards within the insurance domain
- Manage project communications, status reporting, and executive stakeholder updates
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and tools used for large insurance platform implementations
Responsibilities
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience, with significant experience on insurance platform projects
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology; certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams in complex, distributed environments
- In-depth insurance industry knowledge (life, annuity, or similar policy administration preferred)
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Bonus Points If You Have
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other advanced project management certification
- Experience with cloud-based insurance solutions or digital transformation
- Experience managing large-scale Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) implementation projects
- LOMA certification(s)
- Agile certification(s)
- A passion for insurance technology innovation and participation in industry forums or thought leadership initiatives
