At Deloitte, you will be a part of the Property and Casualty (P&C) Actuarial team within the Consulting - Human Capital - Insights, Innovation & Operate (IIO) practice. Our actuarial consultants provide a wide range of P&C Insurance Consulting and Audit services for our clients. We are expanding our pricing capabilities within the P&C actuarial practice and seeking experienced professionals to support client engagements that deliver meaningful insights into pricing strategy and overall business performance.

- Performrateindication,profitability,andportfoliomonitoring analyses.
- Build,maintain,andenhanceactuarialpricingmodelsand tools.
- Prepare client-ready reports, exhibits, and presentations.
- Workwiththeseniorteammemberstodeliveractuarialinsightsand recommendations.
Qualificationsand Skills
- Bachelor'sormaster'sdegreeinStatistics,Mathematics,ActuarialScienceoranotherquantitative discipline.
- 2to6yearsofexperienceinP&Cinsurancepricing,actuarialconsulting,orrelatedanalytical roles.
- Actively progressing towards actuarial credentials with one of the globally recognized institutes, IFoA, IAI or CAS.
- Foundationalunderstandingofactuarialconceptsincludinglosstrends,frequencyandseverity, exposure measures, and underwriting performance.
- Experiencesupportingpricinganalyses,rateindications,profitabilitystudies,andportfolio monitoring.
- Ability to build and maintain rate models, perform experience rating analyses, and assess the impact of ratechanges on portfolio performance.
- ProficiencyinExcel,VBA,PowerPoint,andadvancedanalyticaltoolssuchasAlteryx,TableauorPower BI.
- Ability to develop analyses and provide data-driven insights to support business strategy and client decision- making.
- Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunication skills.
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandinateamenvironmentwithstrongtimemanagement skills.
- P&CinsuranceindustryexperienceintheUSmarketactuarialreservingexperienceinadditionwould be considered a significant advantage.
- PredictivemodellingtechniquessuchasGLMsordatascienceexperienceforpricing/underwriting/ claims.
- ExperiencewithGenAItoolsand accelerators.
- ExperiencewithPython,R,andMachineLearning Operations.
- Experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Earnix, Hyperexponential, or similar systems is highly preferred.
