About The Opportunity
A specialist role in the private tertiary-care healthcare sector delivering advanced urology services including endourology, minimally invasive surgery and uro-oncology. We seek an on-site Consultant Urologist to lead clinical care, surgical services and multidisciplinary pathways across outpatient, inpatient and operating-theatre settings in India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality outpatient consultations, inpatient management and peri-operative care for adult urology patients.
- Perform and lead surgical procedures including endourological interventions, laparoscopic urological surgery and stone disease procedures (FURS, PCNL, TURP, HoLEP).
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care with oncology, nephrology, radiology and anaesthesia teams; participate in tumour boards and shared decision-making.
- Provide on-call clinical cover, emergency urological assessments and timely documentation in hospital medical records/EMR.
- Maintain clinical governance through audit, mortality/morbidity reviews, infection-control compliance and evidence-based protocols.
- Mentor junior doctors, contribute to continuing medical education and support service development and quality-improvement projects.
