Role - Senior Consultant/ Consultant – Metals & Cement

Role Overview
We are looking for a Consultant/ Senior Consultant to work on strategy and advisory mandates across the metals and cement sectors. The role will focus on solving client problems, delivering actionable insights, and leading consulting engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Have good experience in primary sourcing
- Deliver consulting assignments for clients across metals and cement, including market entry, growth strategy, business planning, and sector assessments.
- Structure problem statements, develop hypotheses, and translate analysis into clear strategic recommendations.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact during project execution.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery — scoping, analysis, synthesis, and final presentations.
- Conduct and supervise primary and secondary research, industry interactions, and financial/ operational analysis to support consulting outputs.
- Develop client-ready presentations, reports, and proposals.
- Support business development through pitch decks, thought pieces, and new theme identification.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of engagements.
Skills & Competencies
- Should know prompt engineering and should have used AI tools in execution
- Strong understanding of the metals and cement value chain and sector dynamics.
- Experience in consulting, advisory, or strategy-focused roles (sector experience preferred).
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and build data-backed recommendations.
- Understanding of financial modelling and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
- Stakeholder management and ability to independently drive workstreams.
- Commercial mindset with ability to identify new opportunities and themes.
- Collaborative, high-ownership approach in fast-paced environments.
