Architectural Digest India is looking for an Events & Community Manager to support the growth and engagement of AD Design Show (ADDS), our flagship design event. This role will play a key part in bringing the AD Design Show brand to life year-round through social storytelling, community engagement, content planning, and event amplification.
Working closely with the Audience Development, Editorial, Marketing, and Commercial teams, the Events & Community Manager will help build excitement around AD Design Show before, during, and after the event, while supporting audience engagement initiatives across AD India's broader portfolio of design and culture franchises.

Key Responsibilities
Event & Community Engagement
- Support the development and execution of audience engagement initiatives for AD Design Show throughout the year.
- Help build and nurture the AD Design Show community across digital and event touchpoints.
- Assist with audience-facing activations, creator collaborations, and community engagement efforts before, during, and after events.
- Support on-ground event coverage and audience engagement during AD Design Show and other AD franchise events.
Social Media & Content Planning
- Assist in planning and executing social content across AD Design Show platforms.
- Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with key event milestones and campaign moments.
- Identify engaging content opportunities that resonate with India's design, architecture, and lifestyle audiences.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely content creation and publishing.
Video Content Production
- Create and edit short-form video content for Instagram and other relevant social platforms.
- Produce reels, stories, behind-the-scenes content, and event highlights that reflect the AD brand aesthetic.
- Support real-time content creation during live events and activations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in planning meetings with Audience Development, Editorial, Marketing, Events, and Commercial teams.
- Help translate event priorities into engaging audience-facing content and community initiatives.
- Coordinate with external partners, creators, and vendors as required.
Newsletter & Audience Initiatives
- Work with Audience Development Manager on building newsletter for ADDS
- Contribute ideas for strengthening audience relationships beyond social media.
What We're Looking For
- Approximately 2 years of experience in social media, content production, community management, events, audience engagement, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Indian social media landscape and platform trends.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, including reels, stories, and carousel formats.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in design, architecture, interiors, luxury, culture, or lifestyle industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent writing skills required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting live events, conferences, exhibitions, or cultural experiences.
- Familiarity with newsletter platforms and audience engagement initiatives.
- Experience working with creators, influencers, or brand partners.
- Understanding of community-building and audience engagement best practices.
