About The Team

Our Corporate Advisory team's core objective is to be strategic advisors in solving social problems; so as to together achieve orbit shifting impact. Our focus is on enabling holistic organisation and ecosystem transformation by rigorously solving problems, formulating strategic solutions which are logically sound and effective on the ground and ensuring all stakeholders are effectively engaged and their interests are covered.

Our expertise and work with Corporates in CSR covers:

  • CSR Strategy, flagship programme design, impact communication and building CSR brand.
  • Impact Portfolio Advisory - CSR compliance, portfolio strategy and governance, social audit, programme monitoring and impact measurement.
  • End-to-end programme management through implementation support, strategic advisory and in house tools.

The Opportunity


The Consultant - Skilling & Livelihoods will be part of project teams that design and deliver high-impact skill development initiatives for clients. The role requires a strong understanding of the end-to-end skilling lifecycle from programme design and partner selection to implementation monitoring and stakeholder engagement. The Consultant will work closely with clients, leadership, and implementation partners to ensure projects meet defined targets and deliver measurable outcomes, while translating data and field learnings into insights to inform programme strategy and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Design & Delivery

  • Support the design and execution of skilling and livelihood programmes aligned to client objectives and community needs, using an end-to-end lifecycle approach (mobilisation, training, assessment, certification, and placement).
  • Take ownership of specific work streams or deliverables within the programme, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Proactively identify implementation challenges and work with partners and teams to resolve them.
  • Guide junior team members on project monitoring, analysis, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs, monitoring progress and addressing any issues or challenges that arise.

Project Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning


  • Track key programme indicators including enrolment, attendance, completion, certification, placements, and retention against agreed targets and budgets.
  • Design and manage monitoring and evaluation frameworks for skilling initiatives.
  • Analyse programme data to generate insights on effectiveness, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards, impact reports, and evidence-based recommendations for clients.

Stakeholder & Client Management


  • Work closely with clients, implementation partners, and industry stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Serve as a point of contact for defined workstreams, providing regular updates on progress and outcomes.
  • Facilitate meetings and reviews to enable informed decision-making.

Documentation & Knowledge Building


  • Prepare and maintain project plans, governance systems, progress reports, and learning notes in line with organisational and client standards.
  • Contribute to knowledge products, case studies, and sector insights related to skilling and livelihoods.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all project documentation, adhering to organizational standards and guidelines.

The Ideal Candidate


Qualifications & Experience

  • 46 years of experience in skilling, livelihoods, CSR, or development programmes.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience managing or monitoring end-to-end skill development programmes.
  • Exposure to CSR-funded, foundation-led, or government-supported skilling initiatives is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies


  • Strong understanding of the skill development ecosystem, including training partners, industry linkages, and certification systems.
  • Proven ability to track KPIs, manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects under tight timelines.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and generating programme insights.
  • Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management and data tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
