The role involves sales and business development of SOLIDWORKS CAD solutions within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building a strong sales pipeline, and converting prospects into customers.
The role requires close coordination with the Marketing and Technical Support teams to identify opportunities, conduct product presentations/demos, and drive customer engagement. The focus will be on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline – GT & TC / NTTF / CIPET)
- 2–5 years of experience; exposure to CAD/CAM or technical sales will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers across levels (user to decision-makers)
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM solutions, product positioning, and target industries
- Ability to identify customer needs, build value propositions, and support solution-based selling
- Good coordination skills to work closely with Technical Consultants for demos, proposals, and closures
- Ability to maintain structured documentation and follow up on leads and opportunities
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and motivated to build a career in technical sales
