Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities
Working as a Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include:
- Independently prepare/update valuation models and reports for various types of real estate properties
- Analyze property related documents to identify information gaps
- Assist project lead in finalizing information request lists and question list
- Set up the fully integrated valuation models and prepare majority section of report based on property documents/models and inputs provided by the engagement team
- Review third party valuation/management reports for reasonableness
- Performing market research to understand real estate geography specify dynamics
- Staying updated on current business, economic and regulatory developments relevant to our clients
- Review the work of/guide team members
- Build strong professional relationship with onshore teams through project work
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (income, market and cost approaches)
- Command over accounting and financial statements analysis
- Strong business writing skills
- Knowledge of relevant respective local GAAP or IFRS standards
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
- Command in using research databases such as Costar, RCA, Argus, etc.
Qualifications
MBA / CFA / CA / MRICS (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management)
Prior Experience
Relevant experience of 2.5 to 5 years in either Big 4, corporate roles, real estate valuation
