Role Description The Consultant Radiologist will work on-site at the Anand center in a full-time capacity, providing expert interpretation of medical imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and reporting imaging findings, correlating results with clinical information, and communicating diagnostic impressions to referring clinicians in a timely and accurate manner. The role involves overseeing imaging protocols, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and participating in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings when required. The Consultant Radiologist will support junior staff and technologists through guidance and training, contribute to continuous improvement in imaging services, and uphold patient-centered care with clear, empathetic communication.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with recognized medical degree and valid registration with relevant medical council.
• Advanced expertise in Radiology, including diagnostic interpretation of common and specialized imaging modalities.
• Proficiency in Medical Imaging techniques, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and related cross-sectional imaging methods.
• Focused skills in Mammography for screening and diagnostic breast imaging, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine principles and applications is an advantage for comprehensive diagnostic assessment.
• Postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, radiation safety, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clinicians and patients.
• Comfort with using digital radiology systems, PACS, and electronic reporting tools.
• Willingness to work on-site in Anand and contribute to the growth of diagnostics in the regional community.
