Job Description

Evaluate patient medical histories before imaging procedures.
Suggest alternative imaging techniques if required.
Explain the imaging process to patients.
Operate and supervise use of CT scanners, MRI machines, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
Direct radiology staff in image-guided diagnostic procedures.
Collaborate with lab technicians to ensure optimal image quality.
Interpret diagnostic images and determine diagnoses.
Communicate results and findings with physicians.
Compile detailed reports of results and diagnoses.
Follow medical protocols for emergencies (resuscitation, bleeding, infection, etc.).
