Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Nephrologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and compassionate professional with expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases of the kidneys. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including managing dialysis and kidney transplant patients, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, hypertension, and electrolyte imbalances.
Oversee and manage all aspects of patient care, including those undergoing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for kidney transplant patients.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to develop holistic treatment plans.
Conduct patient consultations, interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment strategies.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications

MD in Medicine followed by a DM in Nephrology or an equivalent qualification is required.
Proven experience as a consultant in a similar role is preferred.
A strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence is essential.

Expertise in nephrology, including dialysis and transplantation medicine.
Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients and their families.
