About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Nephrologist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide range of kidney-related disorders, delivering high-quality patient care across both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Qualifications :

1. Essential Educational Qualifications

MBBS

MD General Medicine

DM in Nephrology (Super-specialization)

These are mandatory

2. Clinical Expertise (Must-Have Skills)

Should be proficient in:

• Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) management
• Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) treatment
• Dialysis procedures:
• Hemodialysis
• Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD)
• Hemodiafiltration (HDF)
• Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT)
• Kidney Transplant evaluation & post-transplant care
• Renal biopsy interpretation
• ICU nephrology (critical care cases)

3. Core Competencies

• Strong diagnostic & clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to manage complex, chronic patients
• Knowledge of electrolyte balance & fluid management
• Infection management (UTI, sepsis in renal patients)
• Understanding of hypertension related to kidney disease

4. Experience Expectations

• 3–7 years: Independent Consultant (transplant exposure preferred)
