Quality Council of India (QCI) is the apex Quality body in the country, in partnership with the Indian industry. It is an independent autonomous organization created by the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

QCI leads a nationwide quality movement in India by involving all stakeholders, with emphasis on adherence to quality standards in products, systems, and services for promoting and protecting national interest and health and safety of its citizens. QCI plays a pivotal role in propagating, adopting, and adherence to quality standards in spheres like education, healthcare, environment, governance, social sectors, infrastructure, and such other areas of organized activities that have a significant bearing in improving the quality of life of the citizens and economic development of the Nation.

Consultant (Policy & investment facilitation)

Minimum Qualification:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or Commerce from a recognized institution.

Minimum Experience:

Min. 3 years of experience in industries and trade support, entrepreneurship, capacity building, M&E, or data management

 Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Support District Industries Centres in GIS-based mapping, industrial infrastructure assessment, and industry profiling. 
  2. Facilitate MSMEs in obtaining approvals, clearances, licenses, and postinvestment services. 
  3. Guide MSMEs on relevant state and central schemes aligned with sector needs. 
  4. Liaise with GIDC, industrial associations, cluster bodies, and non-GIDC estates to assess development gaps and support interventions.
  5. Assist in planning and mobilizing workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and investment promotion events. 
  6. Undertake any other relevant responsibilities assigned under the RAMP programme or by the MSME Commissionerate/SPIU/DIC.

Skills:

Policy support and advisory, stakeholder coordination, investment facilitation, event coordination, and basic understanding of GIS-based assessments.
