Role Overview

As a core member of the Cloud Operations & Billing team, the Billing Expert independently executes and coordinates cloud billing activities across multiple scenarios and publishers(Microsoft Cloud, AWS, Google & SoftwareOne Managed Services offerings). The role applies specialised billing knowledge to resolve standard exceptions, ensure accurate financial outcomes, and maintain compliance with agreed controls and processes. Through reliable execution, peer support, and identification of recurring issues, the Billing Senior Expert contributes to improved billing quality, reduced rework, and stable operational performance. 

Key Responsibilities

• Executes accurate and timely cloud billing, including invoices, credits and rebills within established guidelines
• Processes high‑volume billing transactions with guidance and review in line with publisher requirements, service standards, and internal controls
• Manages billing‑related exception handling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and revenue protection
• Support continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, and reduction of manual billing exceptions
• Process sales and purchase orders in line with publisher requirements, service standards, and internal controls
• Own billing‑related exception handling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and revenue protection
• Identifies recurring issues and contributes input to process and quality improvements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience from college or university
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proven expertise of Cloud billing
• Demonstrated problem-solving, consultative, and research abilities
• Ability to research and gather data from multiple sources
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of cloud billing, order processing, and subscription lifecycle operations
• Good attention to detail with a focus on billing accuracy, compliance, and data quality
• Experience managing billing exceptions, corrections, and reconciliations
• Ability to handle high‑volumes accurately
