Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Java Application Production Support
In this role, coordinating with end users fully in French and perform basic troubleshooting to identify the exact issue and work toward technical resolution within the defined SLA.
Responsibilities
Supporting, Troubleshooting & as needed fixing, enhancing business Applications.
Perform the below activities in close collaboration with geographically distributed Genpact teams & manage the client stakeholders.
Providing Application production support for Genpact scope for TWS(IBM Tivoli Work scheduler) applications & meet the Service commitments (SLA, KPIs) that are part of the agreed contract between Genpact & the client.
Maintain proper integration between CIMNET and the ERP system, TWS IBM Tivoli, other Genpact scope applications & track the data flow between these systems to ensure production data is properly captured in the database on time.
Learn, follow the agreed processes to the T.
Resolve all L2/L3 level issues and perform regular health check of the applications, maintain SLA in resolving the tickets.
Contribute to Problem management and Change Management including but not limited to bug fix and DR activity.
Engage in Application Enhancement activities wherever required & agreed by Genpact management.
Contribute to Knowledge Management practices (KBAs/SOPs) including building reusable documents on Bug Fixes, redundant issues, Database and Server migration activities etc.
On a need basis, get cross-trained on other Genpact scope France applications & contribute including but not limited to being a backup.
Install required Application software for new employees/on new devices in the factory.
Contribute to environment & application upgrade/patching activities - testing of applicable applications including but not limited to shopfloor applications.
Contribute-to preparation & participate in weekly meetings with the clients to provide updates for his & his team's work.
Take part in the Onsite + Offshore Daily stand up to discuss open challenges and issues with the applications and plan to solve them within the defined SLAs.
Contribute to proactively identifying, communicating, implementing service improvements.
Continuous learning & adopt to the requirements of the business.
Be open to work with both French & English-speaking teams and stake holders.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
B.E./ B. Tech/ MCA or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Candidate should be an experienced TWS(IBM Tivoli Work scheduler) domain and technical expert.
Good Knowledge in VB6, Java, ASP.net, AWS, IBM Tivoli.
Hands on experience in command-line interface for Unix/Linux environment and managing Linux/Unix and Windows servers.
Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts.
Good knowledge on SQL Server, Oracle DB.
Basic knowledge of GIT.
Good knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery,
Ability to communicate effectively in English and should have strong customer focus
Strong have written and verbal communication skills
Flexible to work during European shift hours
Flexible to work during weekends/off-shift hours on ad-hoc basis for patching/migration/upgrade activity
Willingness to learn all the technology required at work
Should be able to handle Business users call, manage & mentor team.
Ability to learn and apply new processes and tools.
Technical understanding of products/services and/or ecosystem being supported.
