Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic procedures including Coronary Angiography (CAG) and Cardiac Catheterization.
- Independently perform coronary and non-coronary interventions such as:
- Elective and Primary PTCA
- Coronary Angioplasty (radial and femoral approach)
- IVUS
- Cutting Balloon Angioplasty
- IVC Filter insertion
- Pericardiocentesis (Pericardial Tapping)
- Renal PTA
- Assist the Principal Consultant in advanced procedures including:
- Carotid Angioplasty
- Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (BMV)
- Percutaneous Alcohol Septal Ablation
- Endovascular Graft Repair
- Rotablation (ROTA)
- Conduct independent OPD consultations including patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Perform daily ward and ICU recovery rounds to monitor post-procedure patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in cardiac screening camps and refer patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Work closely with Cath Lab teams to ensure smooth procedural workflow and patient safety.
Clinical Research Responsibilities
- Act as Clinical Research Investigator in Interventional Cardiology trials.
- Enroll eligible patients into clinical studies as per protocol.
- Ensure trials are conducted in compliance with approved clinical protocols and ethical guidelines.
- Coordinate follow-ups and patient revisits post discharge.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for research activities.
