GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
Aon Impact Forecasting (IF) is looking for an experienced atmospheric peril specialist to help and lead the development of the complex catastrophe models and enhance existing ones as part of catastrophe modeling analysis in the insurance and reinsurance industry. This is a full-time position located in India (preferably in Bangalore, with possible hybrid or virtual options) focusing on development of probabilistic flood models.
Aon Impact Forecasting (IF) is looking for an experienced atmospheric perils specialist to drive the development and enhancement of complex natural catastrophe risk assessment models, which are used by insurers and reinsurers to quantify natural hazard risk amd potential losses. This is a full‑time individual contributor role based in India, preferably in Bangalore. Hybrid or virtual work arrangements may be available in line with Aons policies. The primary focus is on probabilistic models for atmospheric perils such as severe convective storms, tropical cyclones, winter storms, and extreme rainfall etc.
