Job Description

Our client, a global specialty generic pharmaceutical company, is looking to engage with a Consultant – HR M&A Integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the post-merger HR integration across key HR workstreams.
  • Partner with regional HR leads and stakeholders to assess and align Rewards and Compensation practices across both organisations.
  • Support the integration and harmonisation of Performance Management frameworks, including goal setting, performance evaluation and related processes.
  • Contribute to Organisation Structure and Design activities as part of the broader integration programme.
  • Support change management and coordination across HR teams to enable smooth adoption of integrated processes and ways of working.
  • Work closely with regional HR leads to provide hands-on execution and implementation support for integration activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across different geographies and support region-specific integration requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of M&A and post-merger integration to identify and address differences in HR practices, processes, and organisational structures.
  • Support the HR Integration Management Office and regional teams with analysis, documentation, tracking, and execution of integration activities.

Skills Required

  • 8–12 years of HR experience, with up to 15 years considered.
  • Strong hands-on experience in M&A / Post-Merger HR Integration.
  • Expertise in one or more of the core areas: Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Organisation Design, and Change Management.
  • Experience working with regional/global HR stakeholders across multiple geographies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, execution-oriented consulting capacity and support HR teams from day one.
  • Strong understanding of HR process harmonisation and integration following an M&A.
  • Exposure to Europe, including cultural nuances and works council considerations, would be valuable.
  • Experience across emerging markets such as LATAM, APAC, CIS, or the Middle East & Africa would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.
  • Candidates with specific M&A and post-merger integration experience will be prioritised over generalist HR profiles.
