TIBCO EBX Job Description
Job Title: TIBCO EBX Developer / EBX Consultant
Summary
We are looking for a skilled TIBCO EBX professional with hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Modeling, Workflow Design, and EBX application configuration. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain EBX-based solutions to support enterprise data governance and master data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. EBX Development & Configuration
- Design and configure EBX data models, tables, hierarchies, constraints, and domains.
- Build user interfaces, forms, views, and data layouts in EBX.
- Develop and maintain EBX workflows (BPM), triggers, validations, and business rules.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and security policies.
2. Integration & Data Management
- Develop and configure EBX data integration using:
- Data Exchange (DEX)
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Batch imports/exports
- Work with ETL tools to support upstream/downstream data flows.
3. MDM & Data Governance
- Implement MDM best practices using EBX features.
- Support data quality rules, stewardship processes, and governance frameworks.
- Manage versioning, workflow approvals, and data lifecycle.
4. Technical Documentation & Support
- Create technical specifications, data dictionaries, solution design documents.
- Provide L2/L3 support for EBX applications, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Required Skills
- 28+ years handson experience in TIBCO EBX (depending on level).
- Strong understanding of:
- Master Data Management (MDM) concepts
- Data modeling
- Governance workflows
- Metadata management
- Experience with Java, SQL, and scripting (Groovy preferred).
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP services and integration patterns.
- Exposure to RDM, PIM, hierarchy management, or multi-domain MDM is a plus.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of TIBCO BusinessWorks, Informatica, Talend, or similar ETL tools.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Agile methodology experience.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
