Role & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive gynecological consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for women across all age groups—including antenatal, postnatal, reproductive, and menopausal care.
Perform gynecological surgeries, minor procedures, and emergency obstetric interventions in line with national clinical guidelines and institutional protocols.
Lead community health outreach initiatives—conducting awareness camps, school programs, and health education sessions to improve maternal and reproductive health literacy.
Collaborate with midwives, community health workers, and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care and reduce maternal mortality rates in rural catchment areas.
Document patient records accurately using digital EMR systems, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, legal frameworks, and ethical standards.
Participate in training and mentoring of junior medical officers and interns to build clinical capacity within the region.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

MBBS with MD/DM/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Valid NMC registration
Proficiency in conducting normal and complicated deliveries
Experience in performing laparoscopic and open gynecological surgeries
Strong knowledge of RCH, NRHM, and national maternal health protocols
Ability to use EMR systems and digital patient registration tools

Preferred

Experience working in rural or semi-urban healthcare settings
Training in emergency obstetric care (EmOC) or life-saving skills (ALSO/BLS/ACLS)
Fluency in Hindi for effective patient communication
