What the day will look like

You will be part of the Health Solutions team, one of the fastest growing teams, in charge of advising clients on their medical, life, wellness and flexible benefit strategy. Within the Global Benefit Management team dedicated to inbound business, your role will be to manage a portfolio of small and medium multinational companies independently and work alongside senior team members on large complex multinational companies.

  • Develop strong client relationship and understand the needs of clients on employee benefits and ensure placement with clients selected insurer/program
  • To act as the single escalation point and provide resolutions for HR and employees on issues that are not resolved at a timely manner
  • Understand and stay current on each client's business situation, strategy and HR, risk and finance needs and upsell/cross-sell product that are suitable for their needs
  • Stay abreast with the insurance markets development
  • Conduct Pre-renewal and/or renewals meetings with clients
  • Ensure renewal terms obtained are far and competitive by reviewing renewal terms and analysis of claims data
  • Preparation of renewal documents such as renewal proposal, claim analysis, benchmarking exercise, communication decks, handbooks
  • Conduct communication sessions on the benefits program to employees as well as to any partners who need to understand the program
  • Handling of enquiries from both HR and employees
  • Be responsible for any follow up on the employee movement and underwriting requirements for the accounts assigned
  • Ensure prompt premium payment from accounts that are assigned

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Diploma in any relevant discipline
  • Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI. CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a consultant or account manager in the Health & Benefits Industry, working with multinational clients across sector
  • Client management experience, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills required
  • Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Self-disciplined and organised
  • Inter-personal skill and focus on service excellence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Self-directed growth and development
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills will be an advantage
  • Good skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, Powerpoint required
