Job Description
- Conduct OPD consultations, evaluate patients and diagnose common and complex medical conditions.
- Manage inpatient cases, including admission, treatment planning, monitoring and discharge.
- Provide medical care for acute and chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory infections and cardiovascular conditions.
- Handle medical emergencies and stabilize patients before further intervention or referral.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, investigations and treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Coordinate with specialists, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes and treatment documentation.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in hospital rounds, clinical meetings and quality improvement activities.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control standards and applicable medical ethics.
