Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) – Agentic AI & Commercial Lending

Location: Gurgaon, India / US Bank Office (USA)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to partner with US Bank in building agentic AI solutions within nCino for credit decisioning workflows. The role will focus on developing and deploying AI-powered prompts and workflows that analyze borrower and credit application data to generate first-draft credit memos, improving underwriting efficiency and decision quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven workflows and prompt frameworks within nCino.
• Collaborate with business, credit, and technology teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities with borrower, collateral, and credit data sources.
• Test, evaluate, and optimize AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and usability.
• Support deployment, user adoption, training, and knowledge transfer.
• Create reusable accelerators and best practices for broader lending use cases.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, or solution implementation.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript.
• Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with nCino, Salesforce, or commercial lending platforms.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting, credit memo preparation, borrower financial analysis, and lending operations.
• Experience delivering AI solutions in regulated financial services environments.
