Consultant for Government Scheme Linkages Support  -  Khelo Dadri Program

Sportz Village Foundation is the non-profit subsidiary of India's largest school sports education organization Sportz Village, which for last two decades, is helping children from public schools (rural & urban) benefit from sports and physical education programs for improved developmental outcomes. Sportz Village Foundation initiatives encompass Sports Education, Sporting Excellence, Gender Equity, Community Development, Livelihood & Capacity Building, with footprints spanning numerous states, including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and more. Sportz Village Foundation is also on the panel of NSDC, CII, NITI Aayog, and several state governments as a strategic partner and advisor for sports education.

Purpose of the Assignment - To provide on-ground support and guidance to Khelo Dadri Program team for:

·        Identifying relevant government schemes

·        Facilitating linkages with departments and institutions

·        Supporting beneficiaries (students/youth) in accessing schemes

·        Enabling smoother navigation of government systems

Scope of Work (Support-Focused)

Scheme Identification

o  Identify relevant schemes aligned to Khelo Dadri (For e.g. Khelo India, Fit India, SAI pathways)

o  Skill India (sports livelihoods)

o  Education & infrastructure schemes (Samagra Shiksha, MGNREGA)

o  Support Khelo Dadri program team convert schemes into actionable formats

Institutional Linkages & Coordination

§ Support Khelo Dadri team in establishing working connections with:

o  District Sports Office

o  State Sports Department

o  SAI centres / Khelo India academies

§ Facilitate: Introductions and coordination meetings

Provide continuous follow-up support for linkages

Support Documentation & Facilitation

o  Documentation and application processes

o  Tracking application status

Capacity Building & Handholding: Khelo Dadri Program team on:

o  How to apply for schemes

o  How to follow up with departments

Ongoing Advisory Support

Provide on-demand guidance to Khelo Dadri team on:

o  Scheme-related queries

o  Government processes

Expected Outcomes

o  Support in applying to government schemes

o  Guide linkages/ pathways to SAI/Khelo India

o  Guide Sports-related livelihood opportunities

o  Strengthened working relationships with government stakeholders

Duration

o  May 2026 – November 2026 (6–7 months)

Profile Requirements

o  Background in sports for development or sports for excellence programs

o  Experience in Government schemes / convergence / public systems

o  Strong coordination and liaisoning experience with government departments

o  Ability to translate policy into simple, actionable guidance

Reporting & Engagement

o  The consultant will work closely with Khelo Dadri & DDP team

o  Monthly in-person check-ins and reviews

Application Requirements

o  Brief approach (max 2–3 pages)

o  Relevant experience in sports and government relations /liaison

o  Financial proposal
