Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - ETL Developer!

In this Role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale ETL pipelines and data integration solutions across enterprise environments. You will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to build reliable, scalable, and highperformance data flows that support analytics, reporting, and operational workloads. You will also ensure data quality, governance, and optimization across the ETL lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using tools like Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or similar platforms.

  • Develop data ingestion, transformation, and loading pipelines from multiple sources into data warehouses, data lakes, or operational systems.

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to support business use cases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Build reusable ETL components, frameworks, and automation solutions.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ETL designs.

  • Implement performance tuning, error handling, and logging mechanisms for ETL jobs.

  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic as required.

  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

  • Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of ETL failures.

  • Optimize ETL workloads for efficiency, scalability, and cost (on-prem or cloud).

  • Work with cloud ETL ecosystems (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow, etc.) depending on project needs.

  • Document ETL processes, data flows, and architecture diagrams.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor%27s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field.

  • Hands-on ETL development experience.

  • Strong expertise in at least one major ETL tool (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, ADF, Glue, etc.).

  • Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries, optimization, and performance tuning.

  • Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and relational/NoSQL databases.

  • Solid understanding of data modelling, metadata management, and ETL best practices.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Experience in cloud-based ETL and data engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Familiarity with big data ecosystems (Spark, Hive, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks).

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell).

  • Knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and DevOps for data pipelines.

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills
