Our Insights and Advisory team plays a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and data-driven insights to organizations. By analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and business data, our team helps decision-makers make informed choices that can positively impact their organization's performance and bottom line. Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented person who is responsible for leading complex ESG consulting engagements, managing senior client relationships, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple projects. This role requires a strong balance of technical ESG expertise, client advisory capability, project and people leadership, and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of ESG consulting engagements across strategy, disclosure, regulatory readiness, and ESG performance improvement.
- Translate complex ESG regulations, frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CDP) and data into practical, actionable client recommendations.
- Review and guide ESG analyses, benchmarking, materiality assessments, and gap analyses.
- Develop client-ready deliverables such as ESG reports, board-level presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Ensure ESG advice is tailored to client industry, geography, and risk profile.
Core Competencies
- Deep understanding of ESG frameworks and regulations (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CDP).
- Own day-to-day relationships with senior client stakeholders, including CXOs, board representatives, sustainability heads, and risk leaders.
- Anticipate stakeholder concerns and proactively manage expectations related to scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes.
- Position ESG recommendations credibly with senior leadership, balancing ambition, feasibility, and regulatory requirements.
- Support repeat opportunities through strong client trust and engagement quality.
- Take full ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery for ESG engagements.
- Manage multiple workstreams, timelines, budgets, and resources simultaneously.
- Identify and manage project risks, interdependencies, and delivery challenges; escalate strategically when required.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (analytics, research, climate specialists, assurance, technology).
- Maintain consulting standards for quality assurance, documentation, and delivery governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Finance, Economics, Business, Public Policy, Engineering, or a related field.
- 59 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, risk, governance, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated experience leading client engagements and interfacing with senior client stakeholders.
- Strong track record of project and engagement management in a consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ESG-related certifications (GRI Certified, CFA ESG, SCR, PMP/Prince2).
- Experience with ESG ratings, climate risk, sustainable finance, or regulatory assurance.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
