Consultant - Emergency Medicine

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at A.J. Hospital & Research Centre in Mangalore, TAS. The Consultant will be responsible for managing emergency medical cases, diagnosing and treating acute medical conditions, and collaborating with the medical and nursing staff for patient care. Other responsibilities include periodic patient rounds, mentoring medical staff, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical guidelines and protocols are adhered to.

• Expertise in diagnosing and managing emergency medical conditions with strong clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and manage critical care procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in patient care, team leadership, and mentorship in a healthcare setting.
• Formal education: MBBS with a recognized postgraduate degree in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
• Valid medical practice license in accordance with regional regulatory requirements.
