Project Role: Consultant - SAP PPQM (Production Planning and Quality Management)
Project Role Description: The SAP PPQM Consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP PPQM solutions, focusing on production planning, manufacturing, and quality management within SAP. The role involves working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize SAP PPQM modules to meet business requirements. The consultant will support the integration of SAP PPQM with other SAP modules, ensuring a seamless and effective solution for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP PPQM Implementation: Lead and support the implementation of SAP PPQM (Production Planning and Quality Management) solutions, focusing on aligning business processes with SAP best practices.
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand production planning and quality management requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP solutions.
- Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize SAP PP and QM modules to meet specific business requirements. Ensure that the SAP solution supports business processes, including production scheduling, quality inspections, and material management.
- Integration with Other SAP Modules: Integrate SAP PPQM with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PM (Plant Maintenance) to ensure a seamless end-to-end solution.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize production and quality management processes using SAP PPQM functionalities, ensuring operational efficiency and cost reductions.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test cases, conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the testing phase.
