The Role: Crafting Brand Desire

We are seeking a Junior Copywriter who is more than a writer, someone who is a storyteller, a cultural decoder. This role is for a creative individual whose passion lies not just in advertising, but in understanding the nuanced semiotics of luxury, and the art of building desire.

You will join a dynamic creative team dedicated to elevating high-end consumer brands, with a strong focus on the sophisticated Alco-Bev and premium lifestyle sectors. The ideal candidate is an imaginative thinker who can translate strategic insights into compelling, culturally fluent narratives that resonate with aspirational audiences. You will work in tandem with writers, strategists, designers, and art directors to create communication that feels less like an advertisement and more like an artefact of culture.

This is a role for someone who is instinctively premium in their thinking, with a low tolerance for generic ideas and a deep appreciation for craft in all its forms.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conceptual & Strategic Thinking:
  • Decode and Understand Briefs: Go beyond the written brief to understand the underlying brand ambition, opportunities, audience psychology, and cultural tensions.
  • Develop Narrative Territories: Brainstorm and shape campaign concepts, taglines, and overarching story platforms that give a brand a distinct and ownable voice.
  • Cultural & Consumer Insight: Conduct research into category trends, competitor messaging, and emerging consumer behaviours to ensure all creative work is relevant, sharp, and ahead of the curve.
  • Ideate for the Ecosystem: Contribute to multi-channel campaign ideation, ensuring ideas can translate seamlessly from a social media post to a high-end film or an in-person brand experience.
  • Writing & Editorial Excellence:
  • Write refined, engaging, and original copy for a range of formats, including brand manifestos, social media content, digital content, video scripts, etc.
  • Adapt to different brand tones, ensuring every word is consistent with the brand's unique personality—from poetic and understated to bold and confident.
  • Edit and proofread all copy to an impeccable standard, ensuring grammatical precision and unwavering attention to detail.

Who We're Looking For

  • Someone with 1-3 years in a creative role with a portfolio that explicitly showcases work for luxury, premium alco-bev, beauty, fashion, or hospitality brands. You must demonstrate a clear understanding of aspirational storytelling.
  • A Portfolio of Craft: Your work should display strong conceptual thinking and a sophisticated writing style. We are looking for a strong interplay between your copy and the visual design.
  • Cultural Fluency: A genuine interest in and understanding of internet culture, emerging lifestyle trends, and the world of modern luxury. You don't just follow trends; you understand the forces that shape them.
  • A Versatile Writer: You know that a powerful story is told differently on Instagram than it is in a YouTube film script or a print ad. Experience in writing for integrated, digital-first campaigns is essential.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A strong team player who can build on others ideas and incorporate feedback from multiple sources.
  • An Uncompromising Eye for Detail: Meticulous in your execution and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
  • AI Comfort: You should be comfortable using AI tools without being dependent on them for ideation or craft.
