Job Description Civil Construction Manager (Bridges Division)

Location: Kerala

Work Mode: Hybrid (Site + Office)

Projects: Completion of 2 Bridge Projects KRFB & PWD

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead and oversee the completion of two ongoing bridge projects under KRFB and PWD. The ideal candidate will spearhead the civil construction division, ensure timely delivery as per client specifications, and coordinate closely with government bodies and internal teams to achieve seamless execution and billing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the Civil Construction Division

Take full ownership of planning, execution, supervision, and delivery of all civil works within the division.

Provide clear direction to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

2. Bridge Completion as per Client Requirements

Ensure KRFB and PWD standards, drawings, and technical specifications are adhered to.

Plan and monitor finishing activities to meet quality, safety, and timeline commitments.

Troubleshoot on-site challenges and escalate issues proactively when required.

3. Client Coordination & Billing

Maintain strong working relationships with KRFB, PWD, consultants, and third-party stakeholders.

Conduct regular review meetings and provide progress updates.

Ensure timely measurement, documentation, billing, and certification of completed works.

Address client concerns and ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.

4. Hybrid Work Schedule (Finishing Stage)

Manage time effectively between site visits and office-based coordination/documentation.

Oversee daily progress remotely and ensure follow-through by site teams.

Ensure finishing work is completed smoothly with minimal disruption.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 710 years of experience in bridge or infrastructure construction.

Strong knowledge of KRFB/PWD standards and project protocols.

Excellent leadership, coordination, and client-handling skills.

Proficiency in project scheduling and progress tracking.

Ability to manage hybrid supervision with strong accountability.
