Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Construction Lead Engineer to take overall responsibility for site execution of a chemical plant project. The candidate will serve as the single point of accountability for all construction-related activities at site, ensuring safe, timely, and quality execution while coordinating effectively with the client, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall site construction and execution activities for the project.
- Act as the single point of contact and accountability for all site-related matters.
- Coordinate closely with the client, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, resource deployment, and productivity to achieve project milestones.
- Facilitate timely decision-making and resolve construction issues to avoid delays.
- Handle escalations from site teams, contractors, and client representatives and ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and approved schedules.
- Conduct regular progress review meetings and provide status updates to project management.
- Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 13 years of experience in construction and site execution of chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or process plant projects.
- Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary construction teams and managing large industrial projects.
- Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive execution, make critical decisions, and manage site challenges effectively.
