Role Overview
TheEstimator Across all mentioned Discipline,will be responsible for preparing detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for [Steel/Drywall/Finishes/Roofing/Concrete & rebar/Lumber] scopes of work. The role requires strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and market rates to support clients in preconstruction planning and competitive bidding.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs using digital tools and measurement software.
Develop cost estimates, BOQs, and material lists with precise required quantities.
Identify scope gaps, clarifications, and valueengineering opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams and clients to answer RFIs related to quantities and pricing.
Assist in bid preparations, technical submissions, and revisions as required.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience in estimation or quantity surveying, preferably in the relevant discipline.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
Proficiency with Excel and digital takeoff/estimation tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc., or equivalent).
Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with deadlines.
Good communication skills for client and internal coordination.
Preferred
Experience with international projects (US/Canada/GCC/Europe) is an added advantage.
