Position Overview
The Senior Sales Manager – Construction Equipment is responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, managing key accounts, expanding market presence, and leading a high‑performing sales team. This role focuses on delivering revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and positioning the company as a preferred partner in the construction machinery and heavy-equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute regional/national sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across contractors, infrastructure companies, mining operators, rental businesses, and government projects.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, pricing, and market share.
2. Client Acquisition & Key Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with major accounts—EPC contractors, builders, government departments, and fleet owners.
- Lead negotiations for high-value deals, tenders, and annual rate contracts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely support, product demos, and customized solutions.
3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Manage and mentor a team of Sales Managers/Executives across assigned territories.
- Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and drive capability development.
- Coordinate with service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
