Acting as an independent owner advocate, the firm helps organizations identify billing discrepancies, prevent contract leakage, and safeguard major capital investments on complex construction projects. Services include pre-construction contract reviews, construction contract audits, project close-out audits, and educational seminars for project owners and audit teams.

Since 2006, FH DAATA has supported healthcare systems, universities, industrial companies, and property developers in strengthening financial and contractual oversight on large-scale construction initiatives.

Role Description The Construction Consultant role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Gurugram.

  • The Construction Consultant will review construction contracts and Construction project documentation,analyze cost and billing data, and support audit activities to identify variances, non-compliance, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Daily responsibilities include collaborating with project owners and internal teams, preparing audit workpapers and reports, conducting site-based and remote inspections, and assisting in pre-construction and close-out reviews.
  • The role also involves contributing to the development of best practices, participating in client presentations or training sessions, and maintaining accurate records and documentation to support project findings.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Construction, including understanding of contracts, cost structures, and project documentation.
  • Hands-on experience in Inspection activities related to construction bills, contract compliance, and verification of completed work. Identify Risk and create observations.
  • Skills in Project Planning(including scheduling, budgeting basics, and coordination with multiple stakeholders).,contract administration and management .
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools for data review, cost analysis, and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and capacity to interpret complex contractual language.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a Eastern Time Zone , handle multiple projects simultaneously; prior experience in construction auditing or consulting is an advantage.
