Role Description The Construction Consultant role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Gurugram.
- The Construction Consultant will review construction contracts and Construction project documentation,analyze cost and billing data, and support audit activities to identify variances, non-compliance, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Daily responsibilities include collaborating with project owners and internal teams, preparing audit workpapers and reports, conducting site-based and remote inspections, and assisting in pre-construction and close-out reviews.
- The role also involves contributing to the development of best practices, participating in client presentations or training sessions, and maintaining accurate records and documentation to support project findings.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Construction, including understanding of contracts, cost structures, and project documentation.
- Hands-on experience in Inspection activities related to construction bills, contract compliance, and verification of completed work. Identify Risk and create observations.
- Skills in Project Planning(including scheduling, budgeting basics, and coordination with multiple stakeholders).,contract administration and management .
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools for data review, cost analysis, and reporting.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and capacity to interpret complex contractual language.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a Eastern Time Zone , handle multiple projects simultaneously; prior experience in construction auditing or consulting is an advantage.
