Role overview

We are looking for a Consent QA / Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Consent Management / Preference Management testing and QA automation.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing of Consent & Preference Management solutions, including consent capture, updates, withdrawal, preference changes, integrations and downstream propagation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, integration, system, SIT, E2E and regression testing for Consent & Preference Management solutions.

Test complete consent lifecycle, including:

Consent capture

Opt-in / Opt-out

Consent modification

Consent withdrawal/revocation

Preference updates

Validate consent hierarchy, precedence, rules and conflict resolution.

Validate consent/preference data flow from upstream capture channels to downstream systems.

Verify consent enforcement, suppression and activation across integrated systems.

Test Consent Management APIs and integrations using Postman, REST Assured or similar tools.

Develop and maintain automated regression suites for critical consent journeys.

Perform SQL/database validation and reconciliation of consent/preference data.

Validate consent/preference data migration and data integrity.

Test Preference Center across web, mobile, browsers and devices.

Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis, UAT and production validation/hypercare.

Support performance and latency testing for critical consent workflows.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product teams and stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

4+ years of QA / Test Automation experience

Hands-on Consent Management / Consent QA / Preference Management experience – MUST HAVE

Strong experience in Automation Testing

Selenium / Playwright / Cypress or equivalent automation framework

API Testing – Postman / REST Assured

SQL / Database Testing / Data Validation

Strong experience in E2E, Integration, SIT and Regression Testing

Experience building/maintaining automated regression suites

Good understanding of API-based integrations and data flow

Preferred Skills

OneTrust or similar Consent Management Platform

Salesforce / SFMC

Privacy / Consent platforms

Consent data migration and reconciliation

Performance testing

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/GitHub Actions
