Job Role: Conga CLM QA / Test Lead
Contract: 8 months
Location: Remote-India (Office location: Amsterdam/Banglore)
Role Overview
The Conga CLM QA / Test Lead is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of Quality Assurance and Testing services for the Conga CLM platform. This role ensures the integrity, quality, reliability, and successful delivery of Conga CLM solutions across sprint deliveries, large‑scale projects, system upgrades, and roadmap enhancements.
The QA Test Lead will work closely with Conga CLM Development Teams (Amsterdam & Bangalore), Product Managers, Technical Leads, and Business Stakeholders, providing leadership across SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Defect Management, and Test Automation strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. QA Leadership & Ownership
- Own and deliver all QA and Testing activities for Conga CLM across the full SDLC.
- Ensure consistent QA standards across sprint deliveries, large projects, and platform upgrades.
- Provide accurate test effort estimations during backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Take full accountability for quality sign‑off of user stories and releases.
2. Core Skills & Functional Expertise
- Extensive experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) testing.
- Strong hands‑on testing experience with:
- Conga CLM (Apttus)
- Conga Advanced Approvals
- Salesforce (Classic & Lightning)
- Mulesoft Integrations
- DocuSign
- API Testing
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Advanced test script authoring and test case management.
- Strong knowledge of contracting processes and workflows.
- Expertise in Jira and test management tools.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead QA activities.
3. Agile Scrum & Sprint Participation
- Actively participate in fortnightly sprint cycles.
- Contribute to:
- Sprint refinement and planning sessions.
- Testability review and estimation of user stories.
- Daily stand‑ups.
- Prepare Sprint Release Notes.
- Lead and present Sprint Demos to business stakeholders every fortnight.
4. System Integration Testing (SIT) & User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Plan, document, and execute SIT and UAT for all sprint deliverables.
- Develop and maintain test scripts for each user story.
- Execute test cases, document results, and capture evidence.
- Provide formal test sign‑off for successfully completed user stories.
5. Regression Testing
- Plan and execute full regression testing for:
- Conga CLM upgrades
- Salesforce platform releases
- Create and maintain a comprehensive suite of end‑to‑end regression test scripts.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and traceability to business requirements.
6. Defect Management
- Raise, track, and manage defects and incidents in Jira.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to:
- Follow up on fixes
- Retest and validate resolutions
- Ensure timely defect closure and quality outcomes.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Continuously enhance and maintain:
- SIT, UAT, and regression test assets
- Improve test execution efficiency and coverage.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen QA processes.
8. QA Support for Large‑Scale Projects
- Prepare test plans for large initiatives such as:
- Onboarding new business units
- Major Conga CLM integrations
- Conga roadmap deliveries
- Develop and coordinate UAT execution with business users.
- Track execution progress and ensure full validation of business requirements.
9. Automation Testing Scope
- Identify opportunities for test automation, with an initial focus on:
- Regression test automation for Conga CLM and Salesforce upgrades
- Collaborate with development teams to define and support automation strategy.
10. Reporting & Governance
- Provide regular reports on:
- Test progress
- Test coverage
- Defect status
- Participate in weekly QA and delivery status meetings.
- Work closely with:
- Conga CLM Product Manager
- Technical Lead
- Engineering Manager
- Development teams

- Sprint Demo & Release Notes: Every fortnight

- 100% participation in Agile ceremonies
- ≥95% test execution completion within sprint timelines
- <5 post‑release defects per sprint
- 90% of defects resolved within 2 business days
