This Position reports to:

Chapter Leader - Configurator Applications


Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the software components in the assigned Software Engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you provide accurate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating good proficiency in software engineering in their own area of competence.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Smart Power Division in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Develop and maintainscalable, high-performance applicationsthat power complex workflows.

  • Collaborate inScrum teams, applyingdesign thinkingto solve real-world challenges.

  • Translatebusiness needs into elegant technical solutions, bridging the gap between strategy and execution

Qualifications for the role:

  • 4-9 years experience with full-Stack Development - Strong understanding of client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) components. Proficiency in HTML, CSS for structuring web content and styling, Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for dynamic web interactions., Good Experience with frameworks like ReactJS, Angular

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and concepts. Back-End Development - Experience in designing and implementing high-performance web applications using: .NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), Database and Data Storage.

  • Knowledge of any CMS (Contentful, Strapi) (Strong plus), Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase Firestore). Microservices and REST Services: - Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architecture., Experience with RESTful APIs.

  • Azure DevOps: Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps processes., Creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines., Branching strategies and version control., Cloud and Containerization: - Familiarity with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) architecture., Understanding of containerization (Docker).

  • Additional Advantage: - Exposure to other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)., Prior experience working with configurators domain. Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field., Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner) are a plus.
