Job Description:
- Act as a focal point for all configuration management tasks / activities to be executed
- Develop configuration management plans, milestones and schedules for projects
- Identify configuration items, implement change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audit
- Participate in design and change reviews to enforce and ensure adherence to configuration procedures.
- Evaluate existing system configurations and recommend changes to improve or enhance performance and maintainability
- Conduct CMDB audits to ensure all configuration policies and procedures are being followed and adhered
- Perform configuration status accounting on configuration data and tract the configuration status on a continuous basis
- Assist in configuration audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Generate and publish configuration management reports including impact analysis reports and Configuration status reports
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by interacting with various teams and recommend improvements for configuration management
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience working as configuration manager
- Should possess good understanding of ITIL V3 OR ITIL4 service lifecycle modules
- Should have strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
