Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Concept Writer role based in Surat. The Concept Writer will develop original, insight-driven campaign ideas and messaging concepts for B2B clients in the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Responsibilities include translating marketing briefs into clear creative concepts, crafting narratives and taglines, and collaborating with designers, writers, and strategists to bring ideas to life across digital and performance-driven campaigns. The role involves researching industries and audiences, preparing concept notes and presentation decks, and refining concepts based on feedback and performance data. The Concept Writer will work closely with account and strategy teams to ensure that all creative outputs align with client objectives, brand voice, and Dechcept's S.M.O.R.T. framework.
Qualifications
  • Strong concept development skills with the ability to turn complex B2B offerings into clear, compelling ideas and narratives.
  • Proven experience in copywriting or content creation for marketing campaigns, preferably in B2B or performance-driven environments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with strategy, design, and marketing teams in a fast-paced, on-site setting.
  • Solid research skills and comfort working with industry, product, and audience insights to inform concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to clarity, tone, and structure.
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to articulate and defend creative concepts to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, industrial or manufacturing sectors, or performance marketing agencies is an advantage.
  • Openness to feedback, a growth mindset, and an interest in metrics-driven, outcome-focused marketing.
