Concept Artist

XSQUADS Tech Private Limited is a fast-growing game development company committed to creating immersive gaming experiences. We are looking for a talented Concept Artist to bring our in-game assets to life.

Job Responsibilities

· Create high-quality 2D concept art for various in-game assets such as character outfits, weapon skins, vehicle skins, and more.

· Utilize AI-powered tools (such as MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to enhance concept art generation and speed up the creative process.

· Develop sketches, illustrations, and detailed renderings for 3D artists to follow.

· Work closely with the art and game design team to maintain consistency in visual style.

· Research and implement design trends, themes, and unique styles that enhance the game's aesthetics.

· Ensure timely delivery of creative assets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Concept Artist in the gaming industry.

· Strong illustration and digital painting skills using industry-standard software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, etc.).

· Proficiency in using AI-assisted design tools for generating and refining concept art.

· Ability to design detailed and visually compelling assets with strong composition and color sense.

· Understanding of game asset creation workflows and the transition from 2D to 3D.

· Knowledge of art styles, gaming trends, and battle royale aesthetics.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the game development team.

· Passion for gaming and creativity in conceptualizing unique designs.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in game development pipelines and 3D modeling basics.

· Familiarity with Unity 3D or Unreal Engine workflows.

· Previous experience working on AAA or mobile game projects.

· Ability to design seasonal or event-based skins and assets.
