About the Role

We are looking for a creative and imaginative Concept Artist with at least 1 year of industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in visual storytelling and capable of transforming ideas into compelling concept art, storyboards, illustrations, and production-ready visuals. You should be comfortable working with both traditional (paper) and digital mediums.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop original concepts for characters, environments, props, and visual assets.

* Create detailed concept sketches and production-ready illustrations.

* Design and present visual ideas based on creative briefs.

* Develop storyboards and key frames for animations, films, advertisements, and digital content.

* Visualize scenes, camera angles, compositions, and storytelling sequences.

* Produce hand-drawn sketches as well as polished digital artwork.

* Collaborate with production team to bring concepts to life.

* Revise artwork based on feedback while maintaining quality and deadlines.

* Research visual references and trends to create fresh and engaging designs.

Required Skills

* Minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Concept Artist or Illustrator.

* Strong drawing, sketching, and illustration skills.

* Excellent understanding of composition, perspective, anatomy, lighting, and color theory.

* Experience in creating storyboards and cinematic key frames.

* Ability to visualize and communicate ideas quickly through sketches.

* Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software.

* Ability to create artwork using both traditional and digital techniques.

* Strong creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Animation, Illustration, Design, or a related field.

* Experience working in animation, gaming, advertising, film production, or digital media.

* Knowledge of basic animation principles is an added advantage.
