Con/ Senior consultant in Insights & Analytics

We are seeking an experienced Consultant / Senior Consultant to collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact commercialization solutions for global pharmaceutical clients. The role involves leveraging advanced analytics, Excel, and VBA to enhance operational performance, drive strategic insights, and manage client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

• Lead and support analytics engagements in areas such as advisory, strategic consulting, portfolio management, promotion response, and data analytics.
• Monitor brand forecasts, identify deviations, and drive strategic forecasting discussions.
• Develop Excel dashboards, macros, and presentations to communicate insights effectively.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations for business decisions.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on commercial and strategic analytics topics.
• Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Project Management

• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Oversee project execution from initiation to delivery, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges.

Business Development & Strategic Growth

• Identify new business opportunities and support proposal development and client pitches.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape the strategic direction of the analytics practice.
• Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (B.Tech, B.E., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) or B.Pharma / Biotech with analytics experience. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS) preferred.
• 57 years of experience in pharma/life sciences consulting or commercial analytics.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful analytics solutions and managing client relationships.

Technical Skills:

• Mandatory: Advanced Excel, VBA (macros), SQL, Power BI
• Good to have: Python, Tableau
• Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical datasets (Sales, patient-level, claims, Rx, EMR/EHR, diagnostics)
• Experience in pharma forecasting, scenario modeling, trend analysis, and inline forecasting
