We're looking for a Computer Vision / AI Specialist to advance our work in video understanding. Think vehicle-mounted cameras, live video feeds, and challenging real-world detection tasks. Current projects include AI systems that detect safety issues and environmental conditions, from road defects to PPE compliance, but your work will reach far beyond a single use case, and will expand into a revolutionary SAAS product that will change the game in the way businesses connect with AI.

What you'll do

• Develop and train AI models for video analysis, object detection, and scene understanding.

• Handle complex, imperfect video data (weather, motion blur, complex environments).

• Optimise models for real-time inference on Edge AI hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT, ONNX).

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to deploy solutions directly into the field.

• Prototype quickly, iterate often, and deliver AI that works where it's needed most.

What we're looking for

• Strong foundation in computer vision (OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow, or similar).

• Experience with video-based object detection/tracking.

• Knowledge of Edge AI optimisation and low-latency deployments (desirable).

• Curiosity and creativity to solve problems in messy, real-world conditions.

• Practical engineering skills combined with big-picture thinking.
