Role Description

The Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging computer science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for various grade levels. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching theoretical and practical concepts in computer science, conducting lab sessions, assessing student performance, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves collaborating with other faculty members on curriculum development, integrating technology into classroom instruction, and supporting students in projects, examinations, and competitions. This is a full-time, on-site role based at GD Goenka Public School in Aurangabad.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science and Computer Science Education, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and practically.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with CBSE standards.
• Comfort with Mathematics to support computational thinking and logical problem-solving.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Prior experience teaching computer science at school level, ideally in a CBSE or similar curriculum environment.
• Effective classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an inclusive and student-centered teaching approach.
• Ability to use educational technology tools, learning management systems, and computer lab resources efficiently.
