Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Computer Science Faculty role based in Trivandrum. The Computer Science Faculty member will design and deliver engaging classroom sessions, labs, and workshops on core computer science and information technology topics for college students and early-career professionals. Responsibilities include developing and updating curriculum and teaching materials, preparing assessments, evaluating learner performance, and providing constructive feedback and mentoring to support learning outcomes and placement readiness. The role involves teaching programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, cybersecurity basics, and related subjects aligned with current industry requirements. The faculty member will also collaborate with peers on content improvement, contribute to bootcamps and masterclasses, and support academic coordination and student doubt-clearing sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Computer Science and Information Technology, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, structured manner.
• Proficiency in Programming (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python or similar), including data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving for technical interviews.
• Experience or exposure in Cybersecurity concepts, practices, and tools, with the ability to introduce learners to security fundamentals.
• Demonstrated experience in Curriculum Development, including designing course outlines, learning objectives, assessments, and teaching resources.
• Excellent classroom facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive teaching approach.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field; teaching or training experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and operations teams, manage classroom schedules, and adapt content to varied learner levels.
• Familiarity with online learning tools, coding platforms, and industry-standard development environments is an advantage.
