Job Description

Job Title: Computer Repair Technician

Location: Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh, India

Work Timings: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (EST Timings)

Job Summary

Tech365.io, a division of Princeton IT Services, is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to support laptop and desktop hardware repairs, with a primary focus on Lenovo systems. The technician will perform diagnostics, component replacements, system repairs, and warranty-related services while following Lenovo repair and service guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Lenovo laptop and desktop hardware issues.
  • Perform component replacements, including RAM, SSD/HDD, batteries, displays, keyboards, and system boards.
  • Perform Lenovo system board and component repairs/replacements.
  • Use Lenovo diagnostic tools to identify and resolve hardware issues.
  • Process service cases, repair tickets, and work orders.
  • Follow Lenovo service procedures and repair guidelines.
  • Handle warranty and Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) related service procedures.
  • Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and required software.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and replaced components.
  • Perform quality checks after completing repairs.

Required Skills

  • Strong computer hardware troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Hands-on experience repairing Lenovo laptops and desktops.
  • Knowledge of computer components, system boards, displays, storage, RAM, batteries, and peripherals.
  • Experience using hardware diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to perform component-level troubleshooting and replacement.
  • Willingness to complete required Lenovo technician training and certifications.
  • Knowledge of Lenovo service procedures is highly preferred.

Preferred Certifications

  • Lenovo Technician Certification or relevant Lenovo repair/service training.
  • CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
  • Other OEM hardware certifications are an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 1 3 years of hands-on laptop/desktop repair experience preferred.
  • Experience with Lenovo systems is strongly preferred.
  • Freshers with relevant technical training may be considered.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
