Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role based in Bengaluru. The CNC Programmer will create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for turning, milling, and related machining operations to produce precision components. Daily tasks include reviewing technical drawings, selecting appropriate tooling, setting machining parameters, and collaborating with machinists and production teams to ensure efficient workflows. The role also involves troubleshooting programming or machining issues, verifying parts against specifications, and maintaining documentation for programs and processes. The CNC Programmer will support continuous improvement by refining programs for cycle time reduction, quality enhancement, and machine utilization.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Drawing and interpretation of engineering blueprints and CAD models.
- Candidates should possess skills in CNC Programming and general Programming for configuring and optimizing machining processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling operations to translate programs into accurate, efficient production.
- Strong understanding of tooling, materials (metals and alloys), machining parameters, and quality standards for aerospace and automotive components.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience with CNC controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or similar) and CAM software is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and quality protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
