Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role based in Faridabad. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders. Responsibilities include selecting and installing tools, loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing minor programming edits as required. The role involves inspecting parts with measuring instruments, maintaining quality records, and coordinating with supervisors and engineers to resolve machining or quality issues. The CNC Machinist will also be responsible for basic machine maintenance, following safety and housekeeping practices, and contributing to continuous improvement in machining processes.
Qualifications
- Strong CNC machine operation skills, including setup, tool changes, and basic program adjustments (Machine Operation, Machinery).
- Hands-on experience with machining processes and equipment, including turning, milling, and related operations (Machining, Milling).
- Ability to perform dimensional checks, interpret tolerances, and document inspection results (Quality Control).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and process sheets.
- Familiarity with common measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and height gauges.
- Certificate, diploma, or ITI in Mechanical, Production, or a related trade; prior CNC machinist experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
- Willingness to work in shifts when required and collaborate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance teams.
