Computer Numerical Control Machinist

About us

Early-stage hardware startup building precision robotic actuators (motor + gearbox + bearing units). We're setting up a small in-house production line and hiring our first machinist.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate VMC (with ATC) and 2-axis CNC turning center for small precision parts (aluminium, steel, brass)
• Operate wire EDM for gearbox and profile components
• Read drawings/GD&T, hold tight tolerances (±0.01 mm range), inspect with vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge
• G-code editing, tool offsets, fixturing and work holding
• Maintain machines, tooling, logs; support quick-turn prototyping

Must have

• 3–5 years hands-on VMC + CNC turning (Fanuc/Siemens or similar)
• Wire EDM operation experience
• Strong measurement skills and independent job setup

Nice to have

• CAD/CAM (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Mastercam)
• Experience with gears, bearing housings, or small assemblies
