Job Description
We are looking for a skilled CAD Engineer to join our CNC machine shop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise CAD models and drawings that meet manufacturing requirements and ensure smooth CNC machining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CAD models and technical drawings for CNC machining.
- Interpret customer specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with production and programming teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Optimize designs for material efficiency, machining time, and cost reduction.
- Maintain design documentation and revision control.
- Provide technical support during production and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 13 years in CAD design for CNC machining (freshers with strong skills for CAD Software's may apply).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or fusion 360).
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and G-code basics.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
